# F vs GhostGuard

The clearest difference is monetization model: F at free with in-app purchases against GhostGuard's subscription. GhostGuard's advantage is review sentiment (82% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. F sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and GhostGuard sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for F against 4.5 for GhostGuard. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.1K and 986 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of F's written reviews are positive against 82% of GhostGuard's.

F ships an update every 2 months, GhostGuard every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
