# F vs Spy Detector

The clearest difference is rating: Spy Detector at 5.0 against F's 4.5. Spy Detector also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). F's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. F sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Spy Detector asks for nothing beyond the download.

Spy Detector holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: F has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

F ships an update every 2 months, Spy Detector every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
