# Week View Calendar vs CaseHero

The clearest difference is update cadence: CaseHero at every 5 days against Week View Calendar's every 7 months. CaseHero also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (14 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Week View Calendar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CaseHero sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Week View Calendar against 5.0 for CaseHero. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CaseHero has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Week View Calendar ships an update every 7 months, CaseHero every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
