The clearest difference is price: T at Free against iA Writer's $19.99. T also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). iA Writer's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

T is free to download; iA Writer costs $19.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
