# SYNCNEL vs GTF

The clearest difference is update cadence: GTF at fortnightly against SYNCNEL's every 2 months. SYNCNEL's advantage is iOS requirement (7.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SYNCNEL ships an update every 2 months, GTF fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
