# Access Language Arts Lite vs Face Forward

The clearest difference is update cadence: Access Language Arts Lite at every 6 months against Face Forward's every 39 months. Face Forward's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Access Language Arts Lite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Face Forward sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Access Language Arts Lite ships an update every 6 months, Face Forward every 39 months. The most recent releases landed on September 13, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
