# Access Language Arts Lite vs Unity Discover

The clearest difference is update cadence: Unity Discover at every 5 weeks against Access Language Arts Lite's every 6 months. Access Language Arts Lite's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Access Language Arts Lite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Unity Discover sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Access Language Arts Lite ships an update every 6 months, Unity Discover every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
