# Art Scrambles vs Art Blitz

The clearest difference is rating: Art Blitz at 4.7 against Art Scrambles's 4.2. Art Blitz also leads on ratings volume (7.1K vs 24) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Art Scrambles's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Art Scrambles sells 38 one-off in-app purchases and Art Blitz sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Art Blitz holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Art Blitz has 7.1K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Art Scrambles's written reviews are positive against 73% of Art Blitz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Art Scrambles ships an update every 2 months, Art Blitz every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
