# Art Scrambles vs Pieced

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Art Scrambles at 24 against Pieced's 3. Art Scrambles also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.4). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Art Scrambles sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Pieced sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pieced holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Art Scrambles has 24 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Art Scrambles ships an update every 2 months, Pieced every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
