# fofo vs FarmBuzz

The clearest difference is rating: FarmBuzz at 5.0 against fofo's 3.4. FarmBuzz also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 22 months). fofo's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FarmBuzz holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: fofo has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of fofo's written reviews are positive against 100% of FarmBuzz's.

fofo ships an update every 22 months, FarmBuzz fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on August 20, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
