# Week View Calendar Premium vs WidgetGrid

The clearest difference is price: WidgetGrid at Free against Week View Calendar Premium's $1.99. WidgetGrid also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). Week View Calendar Premium's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.7) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

WidgetGrid is free to download; Week View Calendar Premium costs $1.99 up front. WidgetGrid sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Week View Calendar Premium asks for nothing beyond the download.

Week View Calendar Premium holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WidgetGrid has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Week View Calendar Premium's written reviews are positive against 73% of WidgetGrid's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Week View Calendar Premium ships an update every 8 months, WidgetGrid every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
