# HuntStand vs ElkTracker

The clearest difference is rating: HuntStand at 4.6 against ElkTracker's 1.0. HuntStand also leads on ratings volume (59K vs 1) and chart position (#6 vs unranked). ElkTracker's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HuntStand sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per year and ElkTracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HuntStand holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HuntStand has 59K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HuntStand ships an update every 3 weeks, ElkTracker every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
