# Notes, Notepad & Memo vs Simple Notes.

The clearest difference is monetization model: Simple Notes. at free against Notes, Notepad & Memo's free with in-app purchases. Simple Notes. also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Notes, Notepad & Memo's advantage is ratings volume (2.5K vs 61) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes, Notepad & Memo sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Simple Notes. sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
