# Pashto Keys vs Secure Folder

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pashto Keys at 88% against Secure Folder's 31%. Pashto Keys also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.6). Secure Folder's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (442 vs 19). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pashto Keys sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Secure Folder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Secure Folder holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Secure Folder has 442 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Pashto Keys's written reviews are positive against 31% of Secure Folder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pashto Keys ships an update monthly, Secure Folder every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
