# Note Calculator vs Text Workflow

The clearest difference is price: Text Workflow at Free against Note Calculator's $0.99. Text Workflow also leads on ratings volume (176 vs 4) and review sentiment (95% vs 86%). Note Calculator's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On update cadence, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Text Workflow is free to download; Note Calculator costs $0.99 up front. Text Workflow sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Note Calculator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Note Calculator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Text Workflow has 176 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Note Calculator's written reviews are positive against 95% of Text Workflow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
