# Pitapat vs RAVON

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pitapat at free against RAVON's free with in-app purchases. Pitapat also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). RAVON's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pitapat sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and RAVON sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RAVON holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 17 and 84 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Pitapat's written reviews are positive against 67% of RAVON's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pitapat ships an update every 4 months, RAVON every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
