# Remarks vs Timestamp Camera Basic

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Remarks at 100% against Timestamp Camera Basic's 64%. Remarks also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Timestamp Camera Basic's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 23 months) and ratings volume (34K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Remarks sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Timestamp Camera Basic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remarks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timestamp Camera Basic has 34K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
