# Work Log vs Logger

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Logger at 86% against Work Log's 28%. Logger also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3). Work Log's advantage is ratings volume (817 vs 87). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Work Log sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Logger sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Logger holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Work Log has 817 ratings behind it against 87, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 28% of Work Log's written reviews are positive against 86% of Logger's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
