# H&C+ vs Stable Manager

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Stable Manager at none against H&C+'s 24. Stable Manager also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (17% vs 8%). H&C+'s advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (108 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. H&C+ sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Stable Manager asks for nothing beyond the download.

H&C+ holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: H&C+ has 108 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of H&C+'s written reviews are positive against 17% of Stable Manager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

H&C+ ships an update every 3 months, Stable Manager monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
