# Google Admin vs MobileKey

The clearest difference is rating: Google Admin at 1.7 against MobileKey's 1.0. Google Admin also leads on ratings volume (520 vs 1). MobileKey's advantage is review sentiment (32% vs 11%) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Google Admin holds the better App Store score, 1.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google Admin has 520 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Google Admin's written reviews are positive against 32% of MobileKey's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Google Admin ships an update every 8 months, MobileKey every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
