# Google Admin vs CiviMobile

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CiviMobile at 88% against Google Admin's 11%. CiviMobile also leads on rating (4.6 vs 1.7) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). Google Admin's advantage is ratings volume (520 vs 18). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CiviMobile holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google Admin has 520 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 11% of Google Admin's written reviews are positive against 88% of CiviMobile's.

Google Admin ships an update every 8 months, CiviMobile every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
