# Google Admin vs Wix

The clearest difference is rating: Wix at 4.6 against Google Admin's 1.7. Wix also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (17K vs 486). Google Admin's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wix holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wix has 17K ratings behind it against 486, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 9% of Google Admin's written reviews are positive against 19% of Wix's.

Google Admin ships an update every 8 months, Wix every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
