# Google Admin vs Greater Nexus

The clearest difference is rating: Greater Nexus at 4.6 against Google Admin's 1.7. Greater Nexus also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Google Admin's advantage is ratings volume (521 vs 8) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Greater Nexus holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google Admin has 521 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Google Admin ships an update every 8 months, Greater Nexus every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
