# instdown vs Keke

The clearest difference is ads: Keke at none against instdown's shown. instdown's advantage is review sentiment (51% vs 20%) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. instdown sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per year and Keke sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

instdown holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: instdown has 148K ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 51% of instdown's written reviews are positive against 20% of Keke's.

instdown ships an update every 5 weeks, Keke every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
