# instdown vs Kurdish Keyboard

The clearest difference is rating: instdown at 4.7 against Kurdish Keyboard's 4.0. instdown also leads on ratings volume (148K vs 313). Kurdish Keyboard's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. instdown sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per year. Kurdish Keyboard asks for nothing beyond the download.

instdown holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: instdown has 148K ratings behind it against 313, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of instdown's written reviews are positive against 68% of Kurdish Keyboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

instdown ships an update every 5 weeks, Kurdish Keyboard every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
