# Fieldwire vs TRUE Go

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TRUE Go at none against Fieldwire's 1. TRUE Go also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Fieldwire's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (14K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fieldwire sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. TRUE Go asks for nothing beyond the download.

TRUE Go holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fieldwire has 14K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fieldwire ships an update every 2 weeks, TRUE Go every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
