# Fieldwire vs CADbox Marker

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CADbox Marker at none against Fieldwire's 1. CADbox Marker also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 18.0). Fieldwire's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fieldwire sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. CADbox Marker asks for nothing beyond the download.

CADbox Marker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fieldwire has 14K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fieldwire ships an update every 2 weeks, CADbox Marker every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
