# Fieldwire vs Proxxi

The clearest difference is rating: Fieldwire at 4.8 against Proxxi's 3.0. Fieldwire also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 6) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). Proxxi's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fieldwire sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Proxxi asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fieldwire holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fieldwire has 14K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of Fieldwire's written reviews are positive against 75% of Proxxi's.

Fieldwire ships an update every 2 weeks, Proxxi every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
