# Fieldwire vs Salutem

The clearest difference is ads: Fieldwire at none against Salutem's shown. Fieldwire also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 3). Salutem's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 85%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fieldwire sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Salutem sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Salutem holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fieldwire has 14K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of Fieldwire's written reviews are positive against 100% of Salutem's.

Fieldwire ships an update every 2 weeks, Salutem fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
