# Fieldwire vs Alfagres

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Alfagres at none against Fieldwire's 1. Alfagres also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). Fieldwire's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fieldwire sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Alfagres asks for nothing beyond the download.

Alfagres holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fieldwire has 14K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
