# Fieldwire vs BLDON

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BLDON at none against Fieldwire's 1. BLDON also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Fieldwire's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fieldwire sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. BLDON asks for nothing beyond the download.

BLDON holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fieldwire has 14K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fieldwire ships an update every 2 weeks, BLDON every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
