# Huji Cam vs Delayed Camera

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Delayed Camera at none against Huji Cam's 1. Delayed Camera also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (80% vs 67%). Huji Cam's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (12K vs 4). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Huji Cam sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Delayed Camera asks for nothing beyond the download.

Huji Cam holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Huji Cam has 12K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Huji Cam's written reviews are positive against 80% of Delayed Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Huji Cam ships an update every 3 weeks, Delayed Camera every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
