# Duck Bow Hunt vs Rain City

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Duck Bow Hunt at 100% against Rain City's 51%. Duck Bow Hunt also leads on price ($0.99 vs $1.99) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). Rain City's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 2.5) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 40 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Duck Bow Hunt costs $0.99 and Rain City $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rain City holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rain City has 72 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Duck Bow Hunt's written reviews are positive against 51% of Rain City's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Duck Bow Hunt ships an update every 40 months, Rain City every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
