# Readsy vs Bio Reading

The clearest difference is rating: Bio Reading at 4.4 against Readsy's 1.0. Bio Reading also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (489 vs 1). Readsy's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 15%) and in-app purchases (none vs 5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bio Reading sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Readsy asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bio Reading holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bio Reading has 489 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Readsy's written reviews are positive against 15% of Bio Reading's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Readsy ships an update every 12 months, Bio Reading every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
