# Ninja Farmer vs Ninja Gear

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ninja Gear at 61% against Ninja Farmer's 13%. Ninja Gear also leads on ratings volume (79 vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months). Ninja Farmer's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ninja Gear sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Ninja Farmer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ninja Farmer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ninja Gear has 79 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Ninja Farmer's written reviews are positive against 61% of Ninja Gear's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ninja Farmer ships an update every 7 months, Ninja Gear every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
