# VOSIS vs TC

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: VOSIS at none against TC's 7. TC's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 8 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TC sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. VOSIS asks for nothing beyond the download.

TC holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TC has 42 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of VOSIS's written reviews are positive against 78% of TC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VOSIS ships an update every 8 months, TC every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
