# IMBox vs Payroll Pro HRM

The clearest difference is update cadence: IMBox at every 2 weeks against Payroll Pro HRM's every 3 months. IMBox also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (12 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IMBox holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IMBox has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

IMBox ships an update every 2 weeks, Payroll Pro HRM every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
