# beIN CONNECT (MENA) vs Smashi

The clearest difference is rating: beIN CONNECT (MENA) at 4.5 against Smashi's 3.4. beIN CONNECT (MENA) also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ratings volume (15K vs 9). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smashi sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. beIN CONNECT (MENA) asks for nothing beyond the download.

beIN CONNECT (MENA) holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: beIN CONNECT (MENA) has 15K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of beIN CONNECT (MENA)'s written reviews are positive against 29% of Smashi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
