# Jet2 vs Solace Secure

The clearest difference is monetization model: Jet2 at free with in-app purchases against Solace Secure's subscription. Jet2 also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (796 vs 2). Solace Secure's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Solace Secure holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jet2 has 796 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Jet2's written reviews are positive against 50% of Solace Secure's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Jet2 ships an update weekly, Solace Secure every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
