# AB Quantum vs MantisX

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MantisX at none against AB Quantum's 4. MantisX also leads on review sentiment (66% vs 45%). AB Quantum's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and chart position (#107 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AB Quantum sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. MantisX asks for nothing beyond the download.

AB Quantum holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AB Quantum has 2.9K ratings behind it against 360, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of AB Quantum's written reviews are positive against 66% of MantisX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AB Quantum ships an update fortnightly, MantisX every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
