# AB Quantum vs Leica Ballistics

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Leica Ballistics at none against AB Quantum's 4. Leica Ballistics also leads on device support (4 vs 2). AB Quantum's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and chart position (#109 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AB Quantum sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Leica Ballistics asks for nothing beyond the download.

AB Quantum holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AB Quantum has 2.9K ratings behind it against 556, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of AB Quantum's written reviews are positive against 52% of Leica Ballistics's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AB Quantum ships an update fortnightly, Leica Ballistics monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
