# Umniah vs JUST Students

The clearest difference is review sentiment: JUST Students at 57% against Umniah's 16%. JUST Students also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Umniah's advantage is ratings volume (4.6K vs 77) and rating (4.2 vs 3.9). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Umniah holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Umniah has 4.6K ratings behind it against 77, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of Umniah's written reviews are positive against 57% of JUST Students's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Umniah ships an update every 3 weeks, JUST Students every 11 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
