# Mind Scanner Magic vs AnimalAnalysis

The clearest difference is rating: AnimalAnalysis at 3.9 against Mind Scanner Magic's 3.4. AnimalAnalysis also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 35 months) and ratings volume (385 vs 7). Mind Scanner Magic's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (47% vs 32%). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AnimalAnalysis holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AnimalAnalysis has 385 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Mind Scanner Magic's written reviews are positive against 32% of AnimalAnalysis's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mind Scanner Magic ships an update every 35 months, AnimalAnalysis every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
