# Mari vs ManageBac

The clearest difference is update cadence: ManageBac at every 2 weeks against Mari's every 2 months. ManageBac also leads on ratings volume (169 vs 2). Mari's advantage is review sentiment (28% vs 19%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.0 for Mari against 4.0 for ManageBac.
