# Poker Nerd vs 8 Pool Master

Poker Nerd and 8 Pool Master both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Poker Nerd's written reviews are positive against 63% of 8 Pool Master's. Poker Nerd also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). 8 Pool Master's advantage is ratings volume (20K vs 2) and chart position (#141 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Poker Nerd sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 8 Pool Master sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
