# 咪咕视频 vs 口袋魔方

The clearest difference is monetization model: 咪咕视频 at free with in-app purchases against 口袋魔方's subscription. 咪咕视频 also leads on ratings volume (4K vs 3). 口袋魔方's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 咪咕视频 sells 32 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and 口袋魔方 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

口袋魔方 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 咪咕视频 has 4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 21% of 咪咕视频's written reviews are positive against 43% of 口袋魔方's.

咪咕视频 ships an update fortnightly, 口袋魔方 every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
