# 咪咕视频 vs Hex Gem Defense

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hex Gem Defense at 89% against 咪咕视频's 21%. Hex Gem Defense also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). 咪咕视频's advantage is ratings volume (4K vs 240) and rating (4.6 vs 4.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 咪咕视频 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Hex Gem Defense sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

咪咕视频 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 咪咕视频 has 4K ratings behind it against 240, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of 咪咕视频's written reviews are positive against 89% of Hex Gem Defense's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

咪咕视频 ships an update fortnightly, Hex Gem Defense monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
