# VeraMobile™ vs Hubitat Elevation

The clearest difference is rating: Hubitat Elevation at 4.1 against VeraMobile™'s 2.8. Hubitat Elevation also leads on ratings volume (979 vs 194). VeraMobile™'s advantage is review sentiment (38% vs 24%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hubitat Elevation holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hubitat Elevation has 979 ratings behind it against 194, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of VeraMobile™'s written reviews are positive against 24% of Hubitat Elevation's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VeraMobile™ ships an update every 5 weeks, Hubitat Elevation every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
