# eBid vs ShopGoodwill

The clearest difference is rating: ShopGoodwill at 2.4 against eBid's 2.1. ShopGoodwill also leads on ratings volume (959 vs 46). eBid's advantage is iOS requirement (10.3 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ShopGoodwill holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ShopGoodwill has 959 ratings behind it against 46, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of eBid's written reviews are positive against 13% of ShopGoodwill's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

eBid ships an update every 2 months, ShopGoodwill every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
