# hiperweb vs Addons

The clearest difference is rating: Addons at 4.6 against hiperweb's 3.9. Addons also leads on ratings volume (344 vs 16) and review sentiment (60% vs 50%). hiperweb's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Addons sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. hiperweb asks for nothing beyond the download.

Addons holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Addons has 344 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of hiperweb's written reviews are positive against 60% of Addons's.

hiperweb ships an update fortnightly, Addons every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
